Clinical Budget & Contracts Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic-minded individual to join our team as a Clinical Contract and Budget Analyst . In this role, you will be responsible for managing critical aspects of our commercial business, including Study Budgets, Clinical Trial Agreements (CTA), Confidentiality and Data Agreements (CDAs), Master Services Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs) negotiations. As the key Point of Contact (POC) for these contractual matters, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution and alignment of business strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

CRO/Sponsor Contract Management:

  • Prepare, negotiate, finalize, and maintain contractual agreements with investigator sites, including but not limited to: Confidentiality Agreements (CDA), Master Service Agreements (MSA), Statements of Work (SOW), Clinical Trial Agreements (CTA), Budgets, Letters of Indemnification (LOI), and related amendments.
  • Ensure all applicable procedures are confirmed in accordance with Protocol
  • Manage specific rate cards based on Therapeutic Area
  • Ensure that highest FMV is secured through identification of negotiable line items and certain terms
  • Stay informed about best practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure all contracts comply with company policies and applicable regulations.

Approval Timelines & Deliverables

  • Develop and manage contract approval timelines with investigators.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Foster strong cross-functional collaboration with legal, sales, and other relevant departments.
  • Maintain consistent communication with CROs, Sponsors, and investigator sites to provide updates on the status of contractual requirements.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for inquiries related to contracts and budgets.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to drive successful business outcomes.

Tracking & Reporting

  • Track and maintain timelines for site contracts and budgets, ensuring timely execution and accuracy.
  • Manage and update ECN’s CRM system to reflect contract and budget status, ensuring completeness and real-time visibility.
  • Provide clear and timely status updates to internal and external stakeholders upon request.
  • Collaborate with internal and external IT and data teams to ensure data quality, integrity, and security in CRM system.

General Business Strategy Support:

  • Willingness and ability to jump in and address general business strategy needs on an ad hoc basis, including supporting commercial and clinical operation activities and initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in clinical trial industry
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Time-management-- Ability to work with internal and external customers/vendors to meet project-specific goals
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills-- Ability to interact with site, clients and other functional areas as secondary project contact for contracting issues and questions
  • Organized and detail-oriented-- Ability to manage time and project requirements based on study deliverables.
  • Creative and strategic mindset
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Make decisions based on data analysis and observation.

Pay:

  • $60,000 - $70,000 annually
